We are delighted to announce an investment of £384,000 in two new top-of-the range, low-emission midi coaches.
We’ve added two Yutong TC9 Midi Coaches to our fleet at a cost of £192,000 each, as part of a £2.3m upgrade to comply with the latest Euro 6 emission standards.
The new coaches have more storage space and additional seats compared to the two vehicles they are replacing.
The coaches are are manufactured in China with a British Cummins engine and a German ZF auto gearbox.
LandFlight director Danny Matthews said: “We are always looking at ways we can improve services for our customers.
“The new midi coaches have all the comforts, including USB ports at each seat, on-board Wi-Fi, air conditioning and leather seats.
“I am sure our passengers will notice the difference immediately.
“And they also comply with the latest Euro 6 emission standards.
“This means we will not have to pay the £100 charge many larger vehicles have to pay now London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) has been introduced.
“We will also be exempt from the £50 Clean Air Zone charge which is being introduced soon in Birmingham.
“As a business, we not only think about the comfort of our passengers, we are also concerned about the environment.”
