US Airways award contract to Silverline
Silverline LandFlight has added to its long list of international airline clients with US Airways who have signed a two year contract with the company.
US Airways, which launched its new operation in May to fly between Birmingham and Philadelphia five days a week, has joined Continental Airlines and a host of other international carriers, including Pakistan International Airlines, Lufthansa and Emirates in the Silverline LandFlight stable.
Silverline LandFlight will be responsible for transporting the flight deck and cabin crews between Birmingham International airport and local hotels.
Malcolm Breakwell, chairman and managing director of Silverline LandFlight said “As well as serving the needs of many business and private clients we have also been servicing the airline industry for over thirty years and our experience in this field has made us somewhat of an airline specialist. It’s very pleasing that US Airways have recognized our expertise in this specialist market and chosen us for its new operation to Birmingham airport.”
