New contract win with Pakistan International
Pakistan’s flagship national airline PIA has signed a two year contract with Silverline LandFlight.
The Midlands based travel service company is now responsible for ferrying PIA cabin crew and flight deck personnel between Birmingham International airport and city hotels.
Silverline LandFlight’s business development director Danny Matthews said “We had to act quickly to accommodate PIA requirements when they asked us to start the service the following day, but of course we were delighted to say ‘yes’.”
PIA’s Birmingham manager Ishtiaq Shah said “Silverline LandFlight came well recommended. With an increase in our scheduled flights into Birmingham it was important we felt happy and confident that our staff were in the best hands. The reliability and flexibility of our ground transport provider is of utmost importance, as crew arriving late at an airport could cause a delay for our passengers, and that is not acceptable. We are confident that Silverline LandFlight is able to provide the high level of service that we require.”
