Keeping everyone safe during COVID-19

At Landflight, we’ve implemented some simple but important steps to maintain safe operating procedures for all our passengers, in full compliance with World Health Organisation guidelines on preventing the spread of Covid-19.

One of the main steps, and one we would like to emphasise ahead of all booking and quotation requests, is THE REDUCED PASSENGER CAPACITY OF EACH VEHICLE to adhere to social distancing measures.

You can download full details of our current passenger capacities here.

Our new cleaning regime

We’ve introduced an enhanced cleaning regime before every day of travel to ensure our coaches always depart in a fully-sanitised condition.

We thoroughly clean all windows and glass surfaces, clean all touch surfaces, including seats, hand grabs, seat belt buckles, arm rests, handles and all driver controls, with disinfectant wipes, and mop all hard floors with disinfectant.

The whole interior is then smoke cleaned using an aerosol-based disinfectant to ensure the vehicle is totally sanitised and safe for the next operating day.

When a number of journeys are undertaken in the same vehicle during the same day, even including return journeys for the same group of passengers, further cleaning will be undertaken at the end of each journey to maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness.

All windows and glass surfaces will be cleaned and all the touch surfaces board will be cleaned with disinfectant wipes.

Our drivers will travel with their windows open and all roof vents open to provide a plentiful supply of fresh air, which helps to prevent the spread of the virus.

How you can help

We also need the help and assistance of our customers and we’re asking you to follow the following protocols:

– All passengers should wash their hands thoroughly before their journey, bring hand sanitiser for use during their trip and MUST wear face masks or face coverings while on board, apart from children under the age of 11

– Passengers are required to maintain social distancing while on board and to load from the back first when boarding the vehicle and alight from the front first on leaving

– Passengers should follow the driver’s instructions at all times, remain in their seats at all times and only use the onboard toilet, where applicable, if absolutely necessary

We are committed to reducing the spread of disease and maintaining the health of our staff and passengers so please follow these guidelines to help us maintain the highest levels of hygiene and safety.
